Overview
The Veils cinematic and emotional double album …And Out Of The Void Came Love is a fifteen track full length released via Ba Da Bing Records. Meant to be listened to in two settings, the journey takes the listener through the intimate, personal evolution of The Veils and frontman Finn Andrews.
Solution
A collaborative design process with The Veils lead to welcome and unusual twists and turns. The final illustration is a re-imagining of 'The Annunciation' by Francesco Mazzola, replete with reference to the underworld, signifying the two parts of the album. A bold typographic style was then established to complement the hand-drawn aesthetic, with a two colour palette furthering the theme of contrast for the epic double album.
